One of my favorite flowers-tulips, in this vase I bought a few weeks ago which has definitely become my favorite vase.
And another tribute to my favorite grocery store-Trader Joe's where I can buy these rainbow carrots which in addition to being very tasty help make a nice, colorful plate.

Pretty and pretty. I've seen purple carrots but not yellow ones.
The tulips are gorgeous; I'm inspired to pick some up, I am oh-so-tired of winter this year.
I just, for the first time saw a non-orange carrot. I spent a lot of time pondering if it were an odd, man-made hybrid of a carrot, or if I'm just a midwestern goober. And I didn't even buy the thing, after all that.
I still haven't eaten a purple potato yet, either. I'll get on it.
