Sewing

Quilt I made for my mom this past weekend. She got it in the mail today and she likes it.
On Tuesday, Linda and I had a sewing day. We decorated some of the scores of kitchen towels we bought several years ago. Hers are on the right, mine on the left.

today

This morning I treated myself to a little outing to the Kohler Academy, a cosmetology school. I had a delightful young woman named Rachel who gave me this haircut
and this perky pink pedicure. The total bill was $35, no tax and no tipping. I was treated very well and believe I will be returning for other pampering services.
Made this set of kitchen towels, will be mailing them out as an unexpected gift.
And put away this 4 seasons puzzle. It is 4 separate 500 piece puzzles and was great fun to make. Jigsaw puzzles are a very guilty pleasure for me.

A golden world

Dennis has become a volunteer with Arizona Golden Rescue. A week ago Sunday we attended their picnic and annual meeting.
This is Fozzie. He is the city of Scottsdale's crisis therapy dog. Very pretty and very sweet.
Jake adores his man.
There was an incredible amount of golden fur around.
Jake had hoped to do a little shopping.

relaxing

We spent a while sitting on a bench by the ocean relaxing and enjoying the sea lions.
They were certainly relaxed.
"What's up, Doc?"
The goofy self portrait shot.

Wednesday in San Diego- the food

Linda and I spent Wednesday on a day trip to San Diego. We stopped at a roadside stand for a box of strawberries.
They were part of our breakfast at Starbucks. Sweet and delicious.
A favorite lunch-the crab and shrimp Louis salad at King's Fish House.
And dinner was delicious sushi at Point Loma Seafood.

addiction

The shoes purchased at Goodwill. Please don't let anyone turn me in to "Hoarders." Or have to rent a storage unit for my Goodwill hunting.
