Big deal!

My excitement for the day was a trip down to the new Scottsdale library. Many of the Scottsdale libraries have horse names and this is the Appaloosa branch. I have been watching its construction for many months. It did not disappoint. The outside finish is such that it changes color according to the amount of light it picks up. The whole building is built to be as "green" as possible.

This is what I limited myself to checking out. Most of the books are brand new with crisp pristine pages. This is going to make library use so much more convenient for me. It is on my way to and from almost every trip I make from home.
